Red Panda Passage
Our Mission
For more than 20 years, the Red River Zoo has been a leader in caring for and breeding Chinese red pandas. These incredible animals have become one of the most beloved parts of the zoo, and the Red River Zoo has earned national recognition for its work with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Species Survival Plan program.
Chinese red pandas are endangered in the wild, making conservation, education, and exceptional animal care more important than ever.
The new Red Panda Passage exhibit will feature expanded habitats, indoor viewing opportunities, and modern animal care spaces designed specifically for red pandas โ allowing guests to connect with these amazing animals in new ways throughout every season.
The Red River Zoo is a small but mighty nonprofit organization powered by a community that cares deeply about wildlife, conservation, education, and animal wellbeing.
