April ZooVenture: For the Birds
They’re back! All of those birds that flew the coop last fall are starting to return. Have you forgotten which bird is which? Or maybe you would like to expand your bird knowledge. Learn how to identify some common birds, their calls, and what you can do to help them during their short northern vacation! Bring your binoculars and field guides if you have them. Meet some of the zoos resident and wild birds.

Kids Ages 4-6 Years!
Come explore the zoo and its animals during the colder months of the year! Kids will participate in a variety of activities, crafts, and hands-on animal encounters!
Fancy Feathers: Ducks, geese, swans, owls, and “Stan”, our crane, are all different types of birds. Get ready to explore life in flight as we talk about birds and what you can do to help them survive their yearly migration.
