Groups & Field Trips

Group Rates:

  • Children Under 2: FREE
  • Children Ages 2-14: $5.75
  • Adults: $7.75
  • Seniors (60+): $6.75
  • Carousel Rides: $1
  • Members of the Zoo: FREE when parent/grandparent is present


One chaperone per 10 students is free. 10 students = 1 free chaperone, 11-19 students = 2 free chaperones, etc.

During the month of May, students also have the opportunity to participate in a special Animal Encounter presented by a Red River Zoo staff member; costs for this fun and informative program is only an additional $1/person (minimum $25 per group with additional presentations on the same day being $20/group). These 30-minute hands-on presentations are offered Monday-Friday at 10:00am, 10:30am, 1:00pm or 1:30pm. Other times may be available upon request.
