The Red River Zoo is pleased to consider requests for your charitable organization or event. We receive many requests for donations, but unfortunately we are not able to honor all of them. The Red River Zoo itself is a non-profit organization with limited resources. We feel it is important to support the community that supports us, therefore only organizations in the immediately surrounding area will be considered. Please follow the steps outlined for making a donation request. While each request receives careful consideration, we regret that we are unable to accommodate all organizations that ask for and merit our assistance.
The Red River Zoo focuses its donations on organizations and events that promote education or conservation. The Zoo is also pleased to support individual benefit events that provide support for youths (under 18) suffering from medical issues; however, events who are working in cooperation with Dakota Medical Foundation’s Lend-A-Hand program will be given priority.
We are pleased to provide a family day pass and carousel tickets to non-profit organizations or events that are approved. Please note the Red River Zoo does not donate memberships because of the tremendous value inherit in all membership levels.
Due to the large amount of requests we receive, please send your request at least 4 weeks prior to your event. Please include the following:
Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you would like the donation mailed. Otherwise, approved donations can be picked up at the Red River Zoo admissions desk during regular Zoo hours.
